Review titled Caring
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Debbie Ballard - Posted on 08 October 2024
I attended this morning with a bad back. Could barely move. I had to see the dentist and the hygienist. They were both understanding, moved the chair slowly to ensure I could get as comfortable as possible. I couldn't have asked for better care a***

A great experience, very efficient. New patient called and had a check up appointment within 1 week. Appointment took 10 minutes, the staff were friendly. I’ll be keeping it as my regular dental practice.

The dentist helped me to understand the risks and options that were open to me with a latent tooth problem. Very much appreciated.

On time. Gentle and thorough hygienist visit. Listened to my considerations and gave helpful advice.

Very efficient and friendly. Well organised practice who are happy to accommodate requests for specific appointment times. Had no problem getting an appointment last year for an emergency.

Review titled Good practice
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Dave Harfield - Posted on 11 September 2024
Dentist is great explains everything. Admin not so good, repeated emails received requesting completion of forms (including NHS consent even) mid-way through private treatment. I made this observation a year ago, and no action taken by the practice, which is very disappointing. The point is that volumes of "automatic" emails requesting the same information time after time, and in quick succession leads to emails being ignored, and forms not being completed. This risks important information not being provided by the patient and/or important information not being read by the patient. A degree intervention, e.g. a sanity check whether completion of the forms is absolutely necessary before being emailed is required.

Review titled Brilliant service
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Excellent service as per usual from both the dentist and the hygienist. I would highly recommend them. I had both a check up and hygienist appointment today and once again the service was excellent.

I was seen immediately by the receptionist who was polite and courteous. I was sent up to the Hygienist waiting room and was seen at the exact appointment time. The treatment was thorough and pain free.

Review titled Broken tooth repair
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 10 September 2024
I left a private practice to join this NHS Dentist. Today I attended the practice for arranged treatment after a piece of tooth broke off. I was seen promptly for assessment and temporary filling last week and today the tooth was repaired. The dentist talked me through all aspects of the treatment and is extremely professional with patient care at the forefront.

Review titled Hygienist appointment
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Hygienist called in sick and rather than cancel my appointment, one of the dentist took it on, It was excellent, knowing I was nervous, she took her time and dealt with it very processionally, and took time to keep asking if I was ok. I felt I more relaxed than I have done previously.
