1st time back at a dentist for over 25yrs & I'm pleased to say that on the whole my teeth, gums & general oral hygiene are ok. Really pleased that after my check-up & x-rays that the lovely dentist and reception team didn't try to push anything on me, and to be honest, I'd already decided to join their pay monthly plan for yearly check-ups and hygienist appointments for a really reasonable price. So far so good and I'm sure it will continue

Having lost a filling and requested an emergency appointment, this was quickly expedited and a suitable appointment made. Having attended the appointment the treatment was carried out very efficiently.

Great service by extremely nice people. They know I'm scared but do all they can to keep me calm. Friendly people who are knowledgeable, professional and for me, caring. I'd recommend them to all.

The whole process was thoroughly professional. I made contact at the weekend and first thing Monday I had an appointment. Quickly created a treatment plan and end to end it was all resolved within a week.

Was very pleased with how quickly the Surgery managed to fit me in for an emergency filling. The actual dentist on the day was brilliant, assuming the worst I imagined a painful injection and then a numb mouth. He put a new filling in and I was in/out inside of 20 minutes so able to carry on my day unhindered - brilliant stuff

I attended my Hygienist appointment on Friday 14th March. Although pleasant, the Hygienist seemed to lack confidence in what she was doing. She couldn't tilt the chair back or switch the light on and said we'd have to wait for the nurse to come back before she could start. She had a quick look in my mouth while the chair was upright and when the nurse didn't return after what felt like ages, the Hygienist went to find her. The nurse left as soon as the chair and light were sorted.When she finally got started with the procedure, water was running down my face and neck and she couldn't find any tissues. When the nurse returned for a 2nd time I had to remind the Hygienist to ask where the tissues were. I was asked if I would like to have my teeth polished but this was only applied to the top two front teeth. I came away feeling totally dissatisfied having paid £80 for an inferior procedure. My teeth didn't feel particularly clean and I definitely won't be booking this Hygienist again. She was very giggly and didn't seem to know what she was doing. It didn't help that a nurse wasn't present to assist the Hygienist.

We are sorry to hear about the experience you have recently had with the Hygenist at your most recent visit, she is a new Hygenist and still learning the equipment in the practice. Rest assured we are working with her to ensure she is fully confident with the equipment she is working with. For your next appointment we will gladly swap the hygenist, if you speak to the reception team they will action this accordingly.
