    The older receptionist is unprofessional and rude. I went in to get forms to register my sons with them. Upon arrival I was met with you can’t have any forms because we are only giving out two a day. Which is fair enough but her attitude was really off and unprofessional. She told me to come back first thing if I wanted a form. So the following morning when they opened up I went in. But was met with the same old receptionist. Not a hello, welcome just a stare. Not even a smile. I asked for the forms and when proceeded to get my pen out to fill them out she said you can’t fill them in in here. It’s company policy. Seriously on what planet is this receptionist on? I was gobsmacked. So I just went outside filled them in went back inside to find her scrolling on her phone. I handed the forms over to her for her to say ring up in a few weeks!! Seriously this is not a good start. I don’t know if it’s her or the practice in general but I think some customer service goes a long way. Don’t they want my business? I have also tried to ring up numerous times and I can’t get through. I know why she’s probably on her phone. If my dentist was taking on my son’s would be going there because they are great. Dr J K Evans your older receptionist is making your business look really bad. And I will be telling other parents about my experience too.

    We want to let you know that your feedback is important to us. All comments and responses are taken seriously to help aid us in making improvements where possible to the service we offer. We are sorry you felt unwelcomed, our aim is to provide a friendly and professional service to all the public especially at such a difficult time where patients are finding it difficult to register with an NHS dentist. As you have pointed out we limit two new patient forms per day, the reason for this is that many dentists in the area are not taking on new patients and we were getting inundated with the volume of new requests. On your second visit to the practice you entered the building before our opening time. After speaking with our staff, they said 'we were caught off guard', they were not expecting any patients as it was pre-opening times. This may explain staff using their phones as they had not officially started work. I will be bringing up your feedback in our next practice meeting and discussing the points you have made. If you no longer wish your children to be registered, please inform us as soon as possible. Moving forward, taking on board your comments, we will in future, invite patients to fill in the joining application forms when picking them up at reception.

    Needed an urgent appointment to remove a large, infected tooth. Was seen within a day or two and tooth was removed straight away. Dentist and Assistant were lovely and kept me informed throughout process which was completed quickly. I was very grateful that they were so helpful and friendly, as well as efficient. Have been with this practice for many years and would highly recommend them.

    I’ve been trying to get through for 3 days, hundreds and hundreds of phone calls. Permanently engaged or just rings and rings. Impossible to get through!

    We are sorry you have found it difficult to speak to a member of our team. I would like this opportunity to explain why you may have encountered this problem. At our practice as we are a small practice we have one receptionist to deal with patients coming in and taking calls. The phone lines can be extremely busy at certain times of the day, we ask patients to consider this and call back at a different time in the day. The days in question we had mandatory CPR training and we're unable to answer any calls. The following day a member of our team had a sudden family bereavement which meant we were using the phones to re-arrange appointments and may explain why you found it difficult to speak with a member of the team. I hope you were able to get in-touch and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

    Lovely staff, lots of smiles and excellent service. Very helpful. I had a check up following an extraction, Kal was so kind and gentle during extraction and made me feel at ease during a stressful appointment. Receptionist and nurses really lovely too

    After being so nervous to go the dentist the whole team from the receptionist to the dentist and dental nurse made the whole experience comfortable. I would recommend this dentist to everyone, great team and very accomodating to nervous patient's. Thank You All.
