  1. Review titled Great practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have to praise the dental practice, The receptionist went above and beyond to get me an appointment before I went away. Also their new dentist practitioner was great and very informative with what he was doing. Would recommend him if anyone is nervous about going to the dentist.

  2. Review titled Difficult to get an appointment

Rated 3 stars out of 5

Seems to have been okay but gone down hill and the turn over of staff is difficult to believe. Had my appointment cancelled 3 times this week due to dentist not turning up, with just a couple of days or hours notice. Difficult to get an appointment and don't feel they are reliable but obviously can't move dentist, so stuck at somewhere I would normally leave from.

  3. Review titled Non existent NHS dental care

Rated 1 star out of 5

    by c Jackson - Posted on 16 November 2022

This practice has gone seriously downhill. They haven't replied to any of my calls when stated that they aim to respond within 4 hours. They have consistently cancelled appointments at very short notice, 2 cancelled on the day with 3 hours and 1 hours notice over the past 12 months. We haven't seen a dentist since 2019 even though I had appointments booked in for myself and my children once dental care was allowed to reopen following the pandemic. On a day I saw patients and dental nurses in, I went in to ask why our appointments hadn't been rescheduled, they gave me a reason that seemed untrue. What has actually happened is the practice now takes private patients and seems to have left its NHS patients to their own devices. They don't communicate when they say they're going to and are not booking NHS patients in when you try. Terrible, poor service and a complete lack of care and insight.

Thank you for your feedback, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. We take appointment slots seriously and only reschedule when all other options to accommodate you with a dentist have been explored. Cancelling appointments is not acceptable, and we sincerely regret any inconvenience this may have caused. We are pleased to inform you that due to recent recruitment efforts, we now have more dentists at our practice than ever before. If your appointment has not already been rescheduled, please contact the practice again, and our colleague will promptly arrange a new appointment for you. We apologise once again and are committed to ensuring that this situation does not recur in the future.
