As this place won’t let me leave a review about my experience unless I’ve had specific “treatment” then take this review as the “treatment” I received. Turned up for booked check up confirmed by text to be told it wasn’t in the system and all the dentists had left. This place is atrociously bad. They promised it would get better. For a few months it did - and now we are back to this again. Never answer phones. Never return messages and don’t even have any staff ! Clearly NHS Dental England wants us all to go private

The phones aren't answered - are they not working, or is there no-one there? I arrived for my last check-up and was advised after 45 minutes, the dentist hadn't turned up that day. I have had several appointments changed, and been for one appointment that couldn't be found in the diary....... I'm told I have to have a checkup every 6 months to stay on the books - but can't get to see the dentist ......

I have been with this dental practice since 1995 and until it was taken over by the Dumledore Dental Care Ltd I never had any issues. Since the focus of the practice became corparate, rather than personal, quaility of patient care has been reduced at greate level. First time in decades I had a bad hygenist treatment and I ended up with gum infection as well as damaged surface on my teeth. They then decided that the hygenists would only be at private rate and not NHS. After this I wanted to be seen by my original hygenist. When I wanted to change my regular appointment I was asked for upfront payment for an appointment in February 2024! I am told that asking for money for a service that has not been delivered is "company policy"! I am really disappointed the way Dumledore Dental Care Ltd has changed a well functioning local practice into such disappointment! There is a high turnover of NHS dentists in this practice and it is clear that the Dumledore Dental Care Lts sees profit becomes before patient care.

This dental surgery never seems to have any staff. They cancel appointments all the time with barely any notice, and rarely answer their phones. They are hardly ever open, even during the published opening times on their website, and when you leave voice messages they don't call you back. They send brief texts the day before your appointment telling you its cancelled, and use exclamation marks which make it sound amusing to them. When you are finally able to speak to someone and make an appointment you occasionally get a text confirmation but other times you get nothing. Its is an extremely poorly managed and run dental practice

I was dreading my visit today. But I came out feeling happy and very pleased with the service I received. A pleasant receptionist, a pleasant and informative dentist. I won't feel so stressed about my next appointment.
