Was told by a dentist 2 years ago my son needs teeth pulled out. They keep cancelling appointments and I have to chase and chase for new one. Then it just gets cancelled again. It’s got so bad the orthodontist has discharged us and told us to get referred again once the teeth are out as there’s nothing she can do until the teeth are removed. Asked to speak to head receptionist and she refused. Reception staff in general are so rude. Absolute awful dentist. Have moved myself to another private and would move my children in a heartbeat if I could find another taking NHS patients in the area.

The dentist I see is brilliant. Ive been coming to see him for a few years. He's friendly, caring, explains everything well and I'm really grateful for his care and honesty. When it came to booking the next appointment, I asked the receptionist if I could have the earliest available appointment,after she'd been looking at the screen for a few minutes. She looked a bit annoyed and replied "I AM looking for the earliest one". Perhaps you could ask your IT providers if it's possible to show the next available slot in a separate new dialogue box? Or perhaps explain to the receptionist that the people she speaks to can't see though the wooden reception desk, to be able to see what she's doing. I've worked in many customer facing jobs and even if i hated my job, I always enjoyed talking to people.

Went for a family appointment then had a phone call 15 minutes after leaving the practice to inform me they did not put my payment through when my father asked to pay all in one. The receptionist was very rude on the phone, 0 customer service skills. Informing me I had to pay on the phone then and there when I was driving. Extremely disappointed by the rushed service by the dentist too, only then to be informed I couldn’t book my 6 month check up because I was then on the NHS waitlist.

Fast and efficient service. However, I was unable to book a 6 monthly apointment as my dentist is leaving and hasn't been replaced which is quite unnerving.

The dentist seemed to be in a rush. The receptionist couldn’t book us an appointment but said something about a waiting list

Kindly fitted me in without an appointment as I had lost a crown and needed it re-fixing. Just a short wait (less than an hour) and fantastic, polite and friendly staff.

The hygienist and assistant were both so friendly, kind and positive and clearly worked very thoroughly. It was a joyful experience.
