I have never felt so victimised by a professional trained to work in a field where there are vulnerable elderly patients being dealt with regularly. This is an establishment that has had someone speaking Turkish for over a decade when calling the reception team, my parents are elderly with very little English not enough to get by, it was fortunate that I was around to intervene in this phone call about my dads future appointments for his treatments. Straight away I was spoken to in a derogatory way when I asking ‘my dad was wondering when his teeth will be ready for a fitting’ all being I didn’t know the term ‘dentures’ to use correctly. I then proceeded to ask if there will be someone speaking Turkish on the reception or going forward will this not be the case - very harmless question intended to clarify for future reference, I was responded to with ‘when you call your GP is there someone speaking Turkish’ - given the context and the decade of this being the case in this Dentist I didn’t think my question was out of the ordinary, this person then continued on a defensive attack mode basically saying you can interpret for them if they can’t speak English (obviously it was a longer conversation with much more arrogant remarks) - firstly it isn’t even advised by the NHS for someone that is not trained to interpret (I know from previous experiences) and for the assumption that someone is always around my parents when the bare minimum is to provide this service? I was absolutely taken back by the bully demeanour this person had and honestly I don’t know how this is accepted to be normal.

The receptionist registered me and booked me an appointment, left a voicemail reminding me of the appointment a day prior and on the day gave me a form to fill in. I had to wait half an hour to be seen but once the appointment began my dentist was helpful, efficient and explained everything that was happening and my options for treatment. They made sure I was comfortable and gave me breaks when the treatment was too much. I am pleased with the service I received and happy I registered here as a patient.

Saved a tooth I thought was lost and took great care with the aesthetics for the replacement of another than had to be extracted. The most painless injection I’ve ever had. Reception staff helpful and friendly.
