Review titled Good experience
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Although apprehensive my recent appointment for a filling was a good experience. Everything was done to put me at my ease and to minimalise any pain. Both the dentist and the nurse made sure I understood all that was happening.

Initial appointment was to deal with a fairly urgent problem. I received treatment two days later. Unfortunately, within hours, the problem progressed unexpectedly and required further treatment. Again, I was given an appointment within two days.

The last visit was not the best due to one of the reception staff being unhelpful when I asked to be seen downstairs as was going to struggle with the stairs due to a hip operation. She appeared put off by the request and was a little short with me. My previous visit to this one, I didn't even have to ask the lady advised me she would arrange it for me. So it seems to depend who is at the desk as to what service you'll get. The dentist and hygienist were amazing, they were respectful, compassionate and kind.

Review titled Efficient Practice with Friendly, Professional Staff
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Graham - Posted on 17 February 2024
Forest House is a very well run practice giving good advance reminders of appointments and has staff giving good advice setting out treatment alternatives. The actual dental work is quite painless! During my last visit for a 9:00 appointment, Reception was short staffed due to illness, but this was handled well to avoid “booking in” delays. I’ve noticed prior to any visit there is need to fill out Covid, NHS Record, Medical History, Patient Detail and Terms of Use forms. I wonder if these form-filling requests could be reduced to require them no more frequently than annually.
