Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback, it is greatly appreciated. If you could let us know the name of your dentist and the nurse, they would love to hear that they have been mentioned. I have a receptionist and a couple of nurses who work on reception, please let us know the names next time.

Got an emergency appointment same day, quite surprised that I was on hold for over 15 mins from 9am and only being caller 2 in the queue, thought that was a long wait on hold for such a short queue I had an emergency filling, the other surprise to me was the cost, over £50, on the website the NHS treatment for a filling is £23 ish so I assume the difference is a charge for the “emergency” appt, this wasn’t explained nor can I find any reference to additional charges on the website. I have no problem paying I just feel that the cost should be clear - NHS charges are indicated on the walls of reception but I could see no mention of the extra I was charged to make it over £50

Please follow the link https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/dentists/dental-costs/how-much-will-i-pay-for-nhs-dental-treatment/ which clearly explains the charges. You were booked in for an emergency appointment which has a charge of £23.80. Treatment options were discussed and you decided to go ahead with a Band 2 course of treatment at £65.20. The conduct of the hygienist and her assistant was calming thorough and encouraging constantly talking me through the process i was extremely pleased with the end result.

Staff were very friendly and efficient at my appointment. My only negative experience was trying to get through on the phone system. Tried several times, always told I was first in the queue but could be on hold for 10 minutes, then would leave a message but get no call back. Only finally got a call once I emailed them.

Telephone answer machine a nuisance having to wait...but once connected I was given appointment and treatment in a timely manner by the dentist and her also efficient assistant

The hygienist that I have appointments with has been really helpful to me she has advised me to get my mouth gums and teeth much more healthy without making me feel stupid. She is always a pleasure to see..

Friendly and polite throughout from reception till examination. Though if i could have some medication for anxiety on the day this would help me as I am extremely nervous of dentistry work due to bad experience as a child which I can't overcome unfortunately.
