I have been with this practice for a number of years and have always received excellent care. However, recently I had to raise a concern about my dental treatment plan and after doing so, my concerns could not have been dealt with more quickly and to my total satisfaction. The manager and her whole team responded quickly and without hesitation or question to my concerns, providing answers, support and reassurance that my concerns would be addressed. Another dentist and her dental nurse on the top floor and in the room to the right when you get to the top of the stairs ( you are not allowed to post names on here) took over my treatment and I have to say that they were amazing. Please take it from a person who holds no desire to see a dentist in their professional capacity, that you are a lucky person if you get to see the dentist that I did at Genix in Alnwick when you need dental services. She is quite simply the best I have ever seen. You will always get a warm welcome,with an informal and professional approach by everyone. Well done Genix, Alnwick. 😉

Appointment was on time. Everyone involved - receptionist/nurse/dentist - was friendly, helpful, professional and efficient.

First visit on moving to area Let us see how it goes being a nervous patient. Was seen more or less on time was reassured and treated with kindness and empathy.

I have been registered with this dentist for a number of years. I have always found them to be helpful, friendly and all my dental treatment has been of a high standard. Unlike dentists I've been with in the past, they are not focused on providing unnecessary dental treatment to make more money. I had teeth problems during covid and they did their best to prioritise me for treatment. The reception staff were extremely helpful and managed to get me in at short notice twice when I was in severe pain. This is something I will always be grateful for. This is the best dental practice I have ever been registered with.

We have been longterm customers of Genix Alnick on an NHS treatment basis. Today whilst having a 6 monthly checkup we have been informed that they have stopped NHS treatment with immediate effect. They handed us a price list which is mind boggling and we simply can't afford. They gave no notice of this, otherwise we could of joined a waiting list with another dentist. This practice only cares about cash and not providing a service to local people.

I booked an appointment with the highlinest to clean my teath at Genex and when the date come up i turned up at Alnwick surgery expecting to have my teath cleaned i waited patiently in the waiting area an extra 40 minutes past my scheduled apointment,then i was called in the treatment room sat down in the chair the dentist looked in my mouth and said yes you need your teath de scalled to which i said yes i know this and thats why i booked to come and see you...she then replied no this is just a check up so i said well cant you just clean them whilst im here sat in the chair after driving 40 minutes to get here, taking half day off work not to mention waiting for 6 weeks, she replied sorry you only have a 10 minute slot. I was not happy with this attitude, i just got up and went to reception and told them to remove me from there list as i felt i was being ripped off absolutely no reason why anyone should have to go to the dentist twice just to have a clean. I just felt two visits two bills for somthing that could and should of been done in one sitting. Saves time off work travelling time etc.
