I had an appointment with the hygienist on a Saturday afternoon. Firstly she was running late, which wasn't an issue as I had also booked in with the dentist and they saw me first. When I went up to the hygienist there was no apology about being late, she did not introduce her self and just waved a hand at my daughter to sit in a chair in the corner. She then went on to question me about a recent dental abcess, when I explained that no one knew if it was a gum or a tooth abcess she seemed noticeably annoyed. She was rude abrupt and implied I smoked, she was dismissive when I explained I struggle to floss due to my teeth being close together and implied that I do not brush my teeth every day. I left the appointment upset, uncomfortable and dissapointed that a professional could behave in such a poor manner particularly infront of my daughter. I have used the hygienist at gentle dental for a while and this was the first time I had encountered this particular individual and it is not something I would recommend.

I've always been nervous about going to the dentist after a bad experience but the staff at gentle dental are so friendly and made me feel very relaxed. I would highly recommend to anyone who's anxious about visiting a dentist.
