I had a terrible experience at Hillbrook Dental Health Centre. As a new patient, their receptionist treated me poorly and was very impatient. Their tone was unfriendly, and they didn’t seem to understand that patients already come in feeling unwell and deserve a warm and welcoming attitude. The receptionist should be more understanding that people come from different backgrounds, languages, and accents, and not everyone speaks fluently. They need to be kinder, less rude, and should be trained on how to properly treat patients. I highly recommend going to a different practice and staying away from this one.

I had an appointment booked months in advance and i currently do not live near the practice and live in another city on the other side of England and on the day of the appointment, 10 minutes before my appointment I received a message stating my appointment had been cancelled. 10 minutes before. They have done this numerous times cancelling my appointment same day with no advance warning and no apology. They didn't even bother calling me to offer an apology or to organise a different date for my appointment. They have done this 4x over the past 2 years. This has resulted in my time and money being wasted The service is terrible within the practice from the dentists to the receptionists. They are never welcoming they don't create a safe inviting environment and they never explain what treatment they will be carrying out on you. Would highly recommend to go a diffrent practice and stay away from this one.

I booked an annual dental check up and was told due to mild jaw ache that they will not be completing the dental check up but to make full payment of Band A, and book a follow up appointment after a month whereby they will complete the assessment at no extra cost. This was not the case at the follow up appointment and I refused to pay extra for a basic service I did recieve in the first instance and notes on database was very basic with no mention on actions and payment agreement. I challenged the receptionist on the misinformation provided regarding payment which the dentist who saw to me begrudgingly honoured the scale and polish on this occasion (without a charge) but didn't complete the assessment. The waiting time for non-emergency service was over 30 minutes too long. Unfortunately, the customer care and quality of service is poor, inept management team who require upskilling on knowledge of pay bands and what it entails. I will be taking my service elsewhere as the experience is not as great as it used to be.
