Rung in with tooth pain for private emergency appointment, paid deposit and got appointment for 2 weeks later , on the day already driving from work got phone call with apportionment cancellation . It was 7th of June after 2 weeks wait. Rescheduled for today 18 June and got phone call hour before appointment that doctor forgot about appointment and somewhere out of the town, probably enjoying nice weather leaving patients with pain waiting a month . Disgusting attitude towards people with no any sort of professionalism. How can you leave someone in pain for month and just cancel because you forgot, …. No one forgot to take money straight away on 1st phone call

I’ve been with this practice for over 30 years. The quality of the services continues to be of the highest order. My latest visit involved the repair of a damaged tooth - I was seen within a day of me contacting the dentist, and the repair is perfect. I would therefore totally recommend Hislop and Wolverson.

Dismayed to be told that I can register, but there is a waiting list of 2 years! What is the point of saying on the NHS website that you are taking patients when you are really not? Intellectually dishonest. Take down this misleading notice or say you have to wait 2 years! A waste of my time

Thank you for your comment. We are aware this is a problem and have raised it with the NHS commissioners, however contractually under the NHS we are currently obliged to state on that website that we accept new patients. As you will be aware from the recent national press, there are issues in Dentist staffing levels/recruitment which we and many other practices in the area are suffering so we are unable to process as many new patients as we would like. Ideally we would alter the website to state we are currently at capacity on the NHS, however that facility is not yet available on that site.

I came for appointment and I stay 1 hour and 30 min to expect. I think somebody for reception forget to tell to the doctor I am in the waiting I am a girl with autism home and she expect me to come back home
