I recently had the opportunity to experience outstanding care from this Brighton dental practice, and I couldn't be more grateful. I was referred to this practice by NHS 111 on a Sunday afternoon, after calling in distress about a broken wisdom tooth that had begun to swell and cause significant pain. Despite it being a weekend, the receptionist was incredibly friendly and reassuring, and she managed to book me an appointment just over two hours later—a relief I didn’t expect so promptly. Arriving slightly late due to some difficulty finding parking, I feared I might have missed my chance. However, my concerns were immediately put to rest by the welcoming staff. The receptionist greeted me warmly, and despite my tardiness, I was treated with kindness and professionalism. The nurse, noticing I was struggling with the forms due to forgetting my reading glasses, stepped in to assist without hesitation—an act of empathy that made a world of difference in my anxious state. The dentist who treated me carried the same balance of friendliness and professionalism. I walked in expecting nothing more than a quick confirmation of an infection and perhaps a prescription for antibiotics. Instead, after a thorough round of X-rays, I was offered an immediate solution: an extraction. Though I was initially apprehensive, the dentist's confident and caring approach reassured me that this was the best course of action. The extraction itself was remarkably smooth and, to my great relief, painless. Less than 24 hours later, I was nearly pain-free and astounded by how little discomfort I had experienced post-procedure. The care I received was nothing short of exceptional, surpassing any expectations I had for an emergency NHS appointment on a Sunday. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough, whether for routine care or urgent dental needs. If you're ever in need of prompt, professional, and compassionate dental care, especially in an emergency, this practice should be your first call. They truly exemplify the NHS working at its best for patients. However, save yourself the embarrassment and give yourself extra time for parking, as it is likely you will need plenty of time to find a space.

The service I received was excellent from the beginning the initial phone call and the follow up from the dentist.. Antibiotics were prescribed and was ready for me when we arrived.. Help was also given for a pharmacy which was open .

I had a broken tooth since lunch time and couldn’t get seeing by my regular practice (or others) was referred here and I can’t thank them enough for the amazing support I received. From the receptionist to the nurse and doctor… so caring, personable and kind. They are angels with a pain-free hand. Thank you thank you thank you!

I was able to be seen promptly and access this service with ease. I was given treatment for the infection that had been causing me a lot of pain and discomfort

I had extreme tooth ache and couldn’t wait to see my regular dentist, it was really severe. Managed to get an appointment really easily. Once there the dentist took X rays of the area but couldn’t see anything so that was that. They suggested that they could remove a filling to see what was under it but would put a temporary filling in. I didn’t feel confident letting them do the work plus I wasn’t sure when I could get a permanent filling. I left the practice in as much pain as I entered. They did mention all along that they wouldn’t be able to carry out any work so I’m not sure what the point of the appointment was.

This is my second visit and really pleased with the experience both times. The reception team are welcoming and helpful. The dentistry team in particular (sorry forgot his name) but he was the Brasilian dentist, he kept checking to make sure I was okay and felt okay ( v important) during the procedure. I hope not to use the service again but am thankful it's there if I do.

The person answering the telephone was very understanding and helpful, giving me an appointment that evening. The dentist worked very hard and efficiently extracting my tooth with his very pleasant assistant at his side. Than heavens for this easily accessible service there to willingly help us when we are in pain with our teeth with their very caring manner.
