Review titled Fantastic
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Helen Goody - Posted on 02 April 2025
Brilliant service from the get go. Registration and appointment all sorted in a day by email, first visit for check up on Thursday, work need completed the following Monday and new appointment for a check up booked in 6 months. The staff were all amazing and welcoming, the girls on reception were wonderfully friendly and chatty. The dentist was very thorough and explained each step what he was doing. Thankfully I'm not nervous of the dentist, however, if I was I would have felt very at ease and reassured. Tip top experience in my view and so happy to have found a very good NHS dentist in town. Keep up the fantastic work all, you make visiting the dentist an absolute pleasure.

Review titled Excellent!
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I am registered with this practice, & had a problem a couple of days ago. I left a message at the practice, & they called back within 30mins. I was given an emergency appointment for the following morning, & seen by a lovely dentist who was extremely thorough, took X-rays, & then explained everything to me. I could not have had better treatment anywhere, & would recommend them.

Review titled Awful

Had an appointment for a filling with the new nhs dentist. She started the appointment by having a cup of coffee whilst I had to wait in the chair for her to finish it. She then had the wrong X-ray on the screen. It was a very deep filling but she didnt offer any pain relief until I asked her to stop as it was too painful. She was very abrupt when speaking to me. Her colleague came into the room looking for something whilst I was mid treatment and she got up to help him look through the cupboards whilst I lay there with my mouth open with instruments in it! The initial check up appointment was just as bad- she was very abrupt, seemed in a rush and I don’t believe she checked my teeth properly. We will not be going to the practice again.

Review titled Made me feel bad for being nhs
Rated 1 star out of 5

I visited the dentist for the first time in 3 years, during the pandemic the dentist went private and i was told no longer nhs. To my surprise, they contacted me to say they now had a nhs dentist and i made an appointment. The dentist i saw made me feel like she had no interest in checking my mouth and i felt like she wanted me out of there. She didn't check my mouth, only counted my teeth. I was in and out in 5 minutes, without even an xray. I said should i just make an appointment for 6 months and she said it's up to you... The whole experience made me feel like i was not worthy of her time.
