The dentist I see is very very good and understanding, as I have a phobia about dental work, he’s very kind and will do his best to save teeth not just pull them out, would recommend him to anyone

I went to Inspire Dental Southend for a checkup. Inspire Dental is a new modern high tech dental surgery. It has a spacious waiting area. When you enter the reception is in front of you and the receptionist are very friendly and helpful. The ground floor waiting are is very spacious and immaculate. Also upstairs is another spacious waiting area again it has a reception desk if you need any help. The dentist is very friendly and asked how I was and if I had any problems with my teeth. I do recommend Inspire Dental in Southend.

My first visit to this dentist practice. Staff were friendly. I was asked briefly about any issues I may have. A very brief check of my teeth was done then a clean at which point the dental nurse seemed to have trouble controlling the tube that takes water away from your mouth. I was sprayed all over my face getting soaked in the process. Not an ideal first experience but I shall give it another go in 6 months time.

I booked in at reception for my appointment and was told to wait downstairs, I double checked it was definitely there and not upstairs to which the receptionist replied it was downstairs. After waiting over an hour I went back up to the desk for them to tell me my appointment was actually upstairs. No apology at all, they were very rude about it and couldn’t care less. They don’t seem to care people travel from far and wide to that practice as no other dentist’s in the local proximity are taking on NHS. In regards to the dentists themselves they are great but If I could change I would purely as the reception team are awful and don’t care to mess up somebody’s day. Sit there chatting about giving there numbers to blokes doing work on the practice giggling like kids, very unprofessional !

I have recently moved to Westcliff-on-Sea and was delighted when "Inspire" dental practice agreed to treat me. I was notified of an appointment very promptly, all the admin/reception staff were friendly and very helpful despite my failure to complete the pre-appointment forms!! The dentist and assistant were also very helpful and supportive when I informed them of my hearing loss. I immediately felt like all my concerns were being dealt with both sensitively and professionally. The visit was very reassuring and I am looking forward to improving my dental health with this practice. One last thing: I had to discuss the sensitive matter of finances, I was unable to calculate how I was going to be able to afford the treatment plan that the dentist had recommended. So, I was introduced to a superb young woman who showed me how it was going to be possible and within my means to set up a payment plan. Again, very happy with the way this aspect was managed. Thankyou to all at "Inspire" for an "inspirational 1st visit!! :)
