Wouldn’t recommend for NHS treatments. As I’m personally not happy with a filling I received on NHS treatment. The Positives are the conduct and treatment from the dentist and reception staff. And the ability to get an appointment including getting seen for an emergency appointment are seen as a big positive. But if I had the opportunity I would look to receive treatment elsewhere. Due to not being unhappy with a filling. Everything else has been positive.

The actual dentist experience this time was awful had to wait over 20 minutes to see the dentist when I went in just laughing when saying sorry for the wait there was no compassion didn’t want to seem bothered with me I was in and out within 3 mins after waiting so long to been seen.

A check up used to include a basic clean of my teeth to remove any small build up of plaque. However my last two check-ups have lasted a maximum of 2 mins each, consisting of a quick count of my teeth and that’s it. In my opinion this amounts to a reduction in the quality of service being provided. That said, the dentist and staff in my practice are all friendly, polite and create a relaxed atmosphere which is good.

I had a serious and dental issue and needed help and was not registered at this dental practice. Even though it was not registered the dental practice gave me an appointment registered me and gave me the necessary prescription to help me. I would highly recommend using this dental practice and very good professional service. Thank you

I had to recently make an emergency appointment at this practice with chronic toothache. I subsequently needed a tooth extracted. At all times in the process, from getting the appointment to the actual care I received from the dental practitioners, the service was first rate. During the procedure, which turned out to be a lot more difficult than expected, the staff made sure to constantly check that I wasn't in pain, I was as comfortable as I could be, & they reassured me & explained what was happening as it went on. I suffer from terrible anxiety so this continual reassurance & care they showed me, made the whole experience something I was able to get through with minimal stress. After the procedure I needed to sit in the waiting room for a while before I was able to go home, & whilst I sat there the staff checked on me several times to ensure I was ok. The whole experience was first class & I would not hesitate to recommend this practice to others.

From front desk to actual treatment,really friendly and make you feel totally at ease,the dentist and and dental nurse are very professional and make the treatment,I had a filling seem very quick and painless. Thank you both very much

I was delighted to find an NHS dentist locally that was taking on new patients. I was able to book a check up with very little wait time, and I got the needed work done the following week. As he did all the work in one go it was charged as one Band 2 charge, instead of the two it would have been if he had done the work on different days. I’m very happy with the quality of the work done and the speed of service, they are excellent. The clinic is newly built, so everything is bright and clean; it’s a really nice practice. I’m telling everyone I know that if they need an NHS dentist, go here.

Staff at both reception desks were polite, friendly and helpful. I have an awful lot of anxiety about visiting the dentist due to having several bad experiences with dentists that were rude, made snide comments and were overall unhelpful and very dismissive of pain and discomfort I was having at the time. The lady that I saw was very nice, very patient with me she allowed me to explain she reassured me when I got upset and started to cry. She said I didn’t have to make the decision then, that I could think about about it and inform them of what I wanted to do closer to the time for the procedure, and due to the level of anxiety I was having said that it would be much better if we got the work I need done under sedation. But she didn’t make a fuss about me needing that or say that I was being difficult or being a wuss which is what I have been called before when I was experienced a lot of pain during a procedure. I have a fairly good pain tolerance and I’m on quite high painkillers for a chronic pain issue so if I’m in a lot of pain how much pain would I be in if I wasn’t taking all of the painkillers?! It was really refreshing that she was so nice and friendly and understanding. She explained things too. I don’t want to go to the dentist but I know I have to go, so going back next time won’t be quite so terrifying.
