Review titled Poor Customer relations

I called in over a month ago to check if they were accepting new NHS patients. They were and was told to come in that week to register. I get there same week , but I wasn't registered, rather I was there to give information that could have been collected easily over the phone, nevertheless, I was there, they took basic information and then gave me an appointment for the following week, making me wonder what the purpose was for me coming in that day. The following week, a day to my appointment, I was called and told all the dentist had family emergencies and they had to reschedule my appointment. Now I'm shocked because , how can all the dentist have family emergencies at the same time. I'm upset because I really need to get my tooth checked ,but I agree to another appointment that is for two weeks away. At this point this dental surgery has basically wasted my time for three weeks and counting, but it's fine , I'm being patient. I was booked in for an appointment for Tuesday and I just get a call from the surgery telling me I have 5mins to come for my appointment or else I would pay a penalty fee of £50. Im upset and angry, because you cancel my original appointment, rescheduled me for another I was calm and patient, have me a date that obviously doesn't tally with their own records and now telling me I would pay a penalty??? I haven't even been registered yet and this is how this surgery runs its business. I'm glad it didn't work out, because I've read some not so nice reviews about this place being money grabbers, but decided it couldn't be that bad and still went ahead to try and register , didn't just think I'd experience it this early on .

Review titled Refused to treat me because "I needed a lot of work"

Called in to check if they are accepting NHS patients, they said they are so I booked as I have had some severe dental pain recently. When I arrive for my appointment he looks at my teeth and then decided due to the amount of work needed that he is not taking new NHS patients, despite me already being in the chair. He told me to find another dentist or come back in 6 months! Dentist was willing to leave me in need of dental care for half a year! As it stands I have wasted a week thinking I had an appointment when I could have been finding another dentist and they are all booked up around here.
