  1. Review titled Abysmal dentist

Rated 1 star out of 5

Stay away from this dentist, they are absolutely awful! I visited back in May with a broken tooth and had to pay for a future crown fitting - its now six months later and I still have not had the crown fitted! They have cancelled numerous appointments and keep telling me the crown isn't ready yet (I'm beginning to think they haven't even sent the molds to the lab for it to be made!) At my last appointment, I drove down (a half hour journey) only to be told upon my arrival that the crown still wasn't ready - they didn't even have the courtesy to ring me before hand to stop me from having a wasted journey! The receptionist didn't apologise and acted as if it was all my fault! I can't decide whether they are completely inept or incredibly devious - either way, stay well clear of them!!

I telephoned the practice this morning , I had to leave a voice mail , but received a call back with in 15 minutes . The receptionist was so helpful and registered me as an NHS patient and offered me a full checkup appointment for 6 days time . I am delighted with the service so far .

  3. Review titled Scammers grabbing the money 💰

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 23 March 2025

I strongly advise against visiting this dental clinic, as my experience there was highly disappointing. The staff seem more focused on making money than providing proper dental care. Even if your tooth only requires a small filling, they will insist that you need a crown, quoting prices between £570 and £600. When I initially booked my appointment, they assured me that NHS treatments were available. However, once I arrived, they refused to provide NHS services, claiming that NHS crowns wouldn’t fit properly. I also have serious doubts about the qualifications of the person treating patients. She did not seem to have the necessary skills to perform even a basic filling. Her technique was poor, and her behavior was unprofessional. The filling she did for me fell out the very next day. When I returned, she drilled my tooth again and insisted that I needed a crown, even though another dentist later confirmed that a simple filling was sufficient. At this clinic, they attempted my filling three times—twice it fell out within a day, and the third time, it lasted only a month. This suggests a lack of proper dental expertise. Additionally, the woman treating patients always wears a large face-covering mask, making it difficult to see her, which raises concerns about her identity. The entire clinic appears to be run by three women, all of whom seem to be from abroad. Their main focus appears to be making money rather than providing proper dental care. I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

  5. Review titled Awful Dentist

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Lauryn Coleman - Posted on 27 October 2024

You're never able to get through on the phone. They only ever reply to voicemails via text, stating that you need to call the practice. So only ever able to speak to them face to face (it's difficult for me to get to them during opening times as I work) but are nice to your face saying they will help in any way they can but when you leave (after thinking the issue is resolved) they do nothing. My foster daughter that moved here from a different county was told to visit her old dentist to get her braces removed (In Kent - 3.5hrs away) when I said that's not an option we were told she would have an appointment to refer her to an orthodontist as she was already due to have her braces removed when she moved here in March, but they didn't refer her and I don't know how to get her referred. (The orthodontist already stated they can't take her on unless she is referred by our dentist). They have apparently been booking appointments for us and not telling us, then texting us to advise we need to rebook our appointment because the dentist is not available on the booked date but I again can't get through to them on the phone to even find out what date they booked us in for let alone rebook. The surgery is an absolute nightmare but I can't seem to get us NHS anywhere local. I dread what will happen when my son has to go for an extraction in time for his braces to be fitted, getting the referral for him took me about 3 years as they 'lost' the original request during lock down and 'thought best' to start the whole process again.

  7. Review titled Last Minute Cancellations for No Justifiable Reason

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 01 December 2023

I have had an appointment booked for six months and only the working day before my appointment, it has been cancelled due to 'the dentist currently being overbooked'. I have been advised that I would be contacted when a space becomes available or a cancellation happens. This situation has happened multiple times and an appointment is never re-arranged. The service at this dentist is getting worse over time and prioritises private treatment over NHS appointments at the last minute. Unacceptable practice that needs to be improved.

  8. Review titled it's closed

Rated 1 star out of 5

I spent all day yesterday trying to call to check my appointment was going ahead and heard nothing. I then arrived for my hygenest appointment today to find the building locked and noone in the car park. I waited for 15 minutes in the rain before giving up. Completely unprofessional and a disgrace to the industry

  9. Review titled Repeated cancellation

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 31 August 2023

I had a emergency appointment booked in May which was cancelled the day before it was due. Just a text sent. Since then I have tried repeatedly to get a appointment each time no appointments are available. At once stage they had no dentist. When I did get through I was told that they were prioritise other patients. As my appointment was cancelled. Since then half my tooth has fallen out, still no one answer's the phone and numerous messages left. I have been with this dentist for 25 years but now I will have to look somewhere else.

  10. Review titled Don’t pay upfront for treatment

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 13 April 2023

I was asked to pay over £600 upfront for a course of treatment. No treatment received or refund and now not returning my calls. I have read so many poor reviews online about this dental practice and sadly my experience seems quite common. Disgusting behaviour. Avoid at all costs.
