Me and my son saw a new dentist on Tue 10th of October and she was lovely and chatted with me and my son about our dental hygiene.

Appointment on time, friendly receptionist. Clean clinic. Polite and efficient dental nurse. Dentist lovely, so gentle and quick. I never felt a thing. Totally recommend this dentist.

Prompt service, message reminders as to appointment, pleasant staff. All in all a good experience, particularly as a dental surgery is not my favourite place to visit.

I arrived for my 0900 hrs appointment at 0845, whereas my dentist came through the front door at 0859. My appointment started at 0908 and was finished by 0920 which included a dental check and a scale and polish. I felt that the whole procedure was a rush in order to get back on track. I come from a military background, and if my appointment is 0900 then I expect to be seen at 0900. No apologies for being late was offered, and while I accept that unforeseen circumstances may occur a simple explanation would have been in order

The dentist and dental nurse were both professional but very friendly and put me at my ease very quickly. Each step of my dental treatment was explained to me by the dentist prior to beginning that stage. I was also given very clear instructions on aftercare. The whole team made my experience stress free.

The overall experience was good. A concern is that an estimate is given in advance of the work required but that doesnt seem to relate to how much the charge actually is. Eg I had two hygeine appointments, the estimate was £69 for each but I was charged £79 and £158 . When I enquired why I was told they can vary depending on the work involved. The work was fairly as expected and no extra work was requied as far as I could see.

The dental hygeinist was polite, empathic and professional. The problem was that my gum health had deteriorated due to my dentist leaving the practice and my not being offered an appointment for over a year when I had been receiving appointments every three months. I should have been allocated to an alternative dentist, not made to wait for over a year so I am angry about this.

The dentist was lovely, she was thorough checking our teeth and took her time to explain everything and our options. I have had to wait a while to get a check up due to the lack of a dentist, only my daughter was seen. I am very pleased with our new dentist, I just hope she stays at the practice.

The receptionist was extremely helpful and acknowledged people waiting whilst on the phone to a patient. The new dentist was brilliant; kind, reassuring yet assertive with her advice to my 12 yo son.
