I am not the easiest of patients when visiting a dental surgery. This morning I attended Sheldon Dental Surgery and was immediately made at ease. The Dental Surgeon was very considerate, explained the treatment and administered treatment in a highly meticulous manner. Patient care and understanding is obviously a prime object of the practice and if anyone has reservations about dental treatment - this is the surgery to go to.

My original appointment was cancelled without informing me. I was kept waiting for 30 minutes on my 2nd appointment

I called in the morning and was given a same day pain management sit and wait appointment but I barely had to wait, the receptionists were very polite and helpful and the dentist and dental nurse were equally as nice, putting me at ease and finding what the problem was solving it quickly!

Reception was friendly and "on the ball", the dentist had appropriate empathy, was informative, gave good advice and personally a really nice chap. More than happy to meet him again.

The Dentist herself I was impressed with, the downside was the unacceptable wait. A full 30 minutes after my original appointment time. This was apparently due to an internal computer issue?
