I’m already a patient at this dentist and have been for around 8 years now and move to castleford 3 years ago. I rung up to register my 2 year old daughter and because we live in Castleford they won’t take her on. I find this highly unacceptable. How can they expect me and my daughter to go separate dentists.

We have been with this practice for over 40 years attending every year and always got a reminder every year for a check up. I recently contacted them because we had not had a check up reminder for a couple of years (i put this down to pandemic), only to be told we had been removed from their list and could not go back on it as we no longer lived in Normanton. (I hadn't contacted them earlier due the stress of dealing with 4 bereavement's in a short period of time). Does 40+ years of loyalty not count for anything? and what was wrong with sending reminders and a letter informing us we needed to contact them or we would be "struck off". We now find that no other dentist near us is taking anyone on.

I myself have been with this Practice since I was a child , my son is now with them he is autistic we were worried how he would cope with visiting the dentist we had no need to worry his dentist is great so kind and caring.

I called this clinic on 17 August 2023. They told me the waiting list is 3 years. This is not the same as they published on the NHS website.

NHS dentist taking on patients. But you ring to make a registration, and a appointment to be told they have a catchment area only if your from Wf6 This is so wrong! People need treatments can you imaging if all dentists doctors and hospitals did this? We can only take you if you live in this area? So because I live Wf3 I get discriminated and healthcare thanks to your own practices made up rules/policy
