Review titled Bad Practice
Rated 1 star out of 5

I have been with this practice for years when I moved to Eastbourne in 2014, they used to be very good but after they changed to Clinic 43 they are not as good as they used to be, recently I had a root canal and tooth extraction, firstly they had to transfer me to another practice to get rid of the left over tooth that needed removing but I received no phone call from the other practice because they'd given them the wrong phone number a completely different one. Secondly what I thought was a routine root canal turned into a failed root canal because they fitted me with an adhesive that broke off within hours after I got home, didn't warn me they would be using a bleach type solution and I ended up choking due to the solution going into my throat and it ruined my hoodie also, the second round of root canal treatment ended with the dentist having to call in an older dentist to help, because I'm pretty sure they'd messed it up and knew this but didn't inform me strait away, the dentist I've been seen by is inexperienced (a nice person) but not someone I had confidence in, as she tried the solution again it leaked into my throat and was burning my throat so my reaction was to sit up and spit it out, but she tried to tell me not to move and stay still whilst gently holding me down, I told her to get the dental equipment out of my mouth so I could sit up and spit the solution out, she freaked out and was apologising, I lost a pretty nice hoodie in the process due to the bleach, and then to be told she can't fit a crown as the tooth is too brittle which I genuinely believe was caused by them drilling so much into it, this process also took ages at least 2 hours so I was already fed up, I genuinely think my tooth could have been saved but due to negligence from the start it's now having to be completely pulled, this isn't the first time they've let me down as before I had a broken tooth and was left with it for ages leading to infection and now the problems I have with the other teeth. I now need to find another dentist as I have 0 trust in Clinic 43 and have seen and heard better from other practices.
