    The dentist and dental nurses are great, what spoils the experience is the Receptionist. I’ve dealt with male receptionist quite a few times, every experience he has demonstrated zero customer service, no empathy at all, and no urgency to provide resolution when a admin mistake has been made. Unfortunately he would rather make excuses for why procedures differ with each member of staff , for instance cancellations of appointments, there’s no set procedure. But his attitude is , it’s not my problem, you deal with it. Everything is an inconvenience to him, and your made to feel like it’s your fault. He would rather you get away from his desk and dismiss your problem then actually resolve it. If you’re dentist isn’t available, then that’s it, nothing can be done in his eyes. He won’t pass a message on, forward an email etc, you have to speak to the dentist face to face, even when they are not available. A little compassion, empathy would go a long way. People get anxious and nervous in the dentist, a smile, and a understanding manner can go along way.

    I rang on the morning of 19th August. Although the practice wasn't taking on any new nhs patients the male receptionist was very helpful He explained that there was private treatment if needed and went through pricing and how cost of treatment worked. When I explained that my son was working and may not be able to get to the practice before the closing time he gave different options. Explaining that other My Dentist practices closed later Very pleasant and helpful Thankyou.
