Booked to go private and paid up front which I was happy to do. After waiting for 40mins I asked the staff on the desk what was happening and was told they had a “toothache” patient in. Whilst I understand toothache is an awful experience a simple conversation of letting me know they know I am waiting would have been nice. I’m self Employed and had to take time off work so this has cost me money and I still have tooth problems. Total waste of time. Are we not able to inform people if they are to Be kept waiting , in my opinion it’s basic manners.

Dear Patient, Thank you for your feedback, I am sorry that you are unhappy with the service from our practice and apologise for your wait. There could be various reasons why your appointment was delayed. This can be due to an emergency, or another patient's treatment going over the allotted time, possibly due to complications or unforeseen circumstances. This can understandably be frustrating which is why we should offer patients the chance of having their appointment re-arranged. The dentist barely even looked in my mouth let alone did a check up, she ran a finger round the right side of my mouth, scraped the gap between my two bottom teeth and said she would see me in six months, didn't do a proper examination or even look at the left side of my mouth, my husband went in before me and said she just looked in his mouth with the light asked about a root if he had any problems with it he said no and she said see you in six months, that does not constitute an examination that we paid £23.80 each for, a whole five minutes work for £47.60, wish I earned that much.
