Contacted my dentist today because my filling fell out just to be told I've been deregistered. No communication or letter has been received and the reception staff just said "go private, we don't take on new patients". According to Citizen's Advice Bureau, I should have received a letter and also a filling coming out is classed as emergency and they can't refuse to see a patient. But obviously the dental surgery doesn't agree with those rules.

I am sorry to hear that you have experienced problems accessing NHS dental care at your practice. Unfortunately, the practice is currently not able to accommodate every new and previous patient who has contacted them requiring care. The NHS.uk website may be helpful in assisting you seek an alternative NHS practice within your area, that may have the capacity to take on new patients and offer you NHS dental care. Dean road dental surgery cancelled my appointment due to a systems error on their side. When I phoned up to re-book (because no one called me) I was told the next appointment is not for 7 months! Fine but when the reception staff member refused to apologise I expressed my frustration that it is more the surgery's fault than my own, the staff member then interrupted me and when I told her not to as that is incredibly rude she hung up on me. I was trying to re-book an appointment you cancelled and your staff member was both uncooperative and rude. I would not hold my breathe for any sort of resolution but this level of service is shocking. For shame on your rude, lazy and incompetent staff.

Amazing Ortho team from start to finish! Could not thank the ortho team enough for giving my daughter her perfect smile. The girls work so well together! Thank you all for helping my daughter gain her confidence. Seamless!! Could not fault anything at all!

The practice is very clean and the staff have always been professional and polite. The treatment I have received from the Dentist has been exceptional and I have been more than happy with the results of my treatment. The Hygienist is fantastic as I have sensitivity issues so the treatment she provides is amazing she is professional and understanding and takes her time so to elevate any discomfort. The dental assistants are really helpful and nice and very efficient The reception staff are professional and polite and deal with a lot of people that have not bothered to come for over 2 years and expect to be provided with treatment immediately so i personally believe that it’s unfair for them to be leaving feed back as they need to have a word with themselves first. I can honestly say I have had no problems getting appointments and have had always been treated really well.

Awful. Deregistered my entire family except one of my children without any notice. Rang to book appointment as tooth crumbling only to be told that the practice can deregister us without reason or warning. Happy to leave me in excruciating pain and said “well you can call 111.” No dentist now for my family or the children we foster. They didn’t care at all.

Amazing facilities and nothing too much trouble for the dentists and nurses. The only downfall would be the few receptionists that huff when trying to check out and take payment. Other than that a really positive and welcoming environment. Lovely to see dental nurses on reception helping give clinical advice

My dentist goes above and beyond due to the nature of my medical problems it’s hard to get treatment but they work a time that suits both and very quickly and I see my same dentist as she knows my history the reception team are warm and welcoming as soon ad you go in and it’s actually a nice place to be as odd ad that sounds some don’t like the dentist but here your fears would be a memory ad they really do listen to the patient absolute brilliance

I had my child in for treatment that they had never received before. The whole procedure was explained before it was started & the dentist was lovely throughout the whole thing always asking if my child was ok to continue. Once it was over the dentist was very polite & explained more options.
