    I had booked a private appointment. A few days later I received an email and a text with a time later than my appointment (on the same day). I believed it was rescheduled by them. When I reached at the dentist, I was told I had missed my appointment (at the original time) and would be charged with my booking fee (£45) for no show. Still don't know how the later appointment was booked. The staff very very defensive and rude.

  2. Review titled Phone lines

    I had been on hold for an hour and half yesterday (11:30-13:00) before the phone lines were seemingly cut off. I was unable to call for the rest of the day. I have now been on hold for four hours (since 10:30 am) and counting (inc approximately 90 minutes of being number 2 in the queue). There is allegedly an option to dial 1 and leave a message however I tried this and it just rung endlessly. This is absolutely mental.

    I had an appointment booked for September then sent out a letter cancelling my appointment I tried to call them to re book and the lady on the phone is very rude told me she can’t do this and to call again towards the end of the year. I was threaded to be removed of their system If I didn’t have an appointment every 6 months and now they can’t even offer me one. The lady on reception needs to receive some training on how to speak to clients as her attitude towards me was not ok! I would not recommend this dentist! And 100% looking to move! Rude staff trying to encourage private dentists!

    Horrible level of care! I have sore gums and need someone to take a look at my teeth to be told “sorry we have no NHS dentists and won’t have any for a while, can you phone back in a few months time” so what am I supposed to do in the meantime? I pay for the dentist it’s not free for me and there should be appointments available for your clients!

    As you may be aware, we do have several dentist vacancies at your practice and are actively trying to recruit. Unfortunately, recruitment of dentist’s post pandemic is proving extremely difficult. There is a shortage of dentists in the UK which is making attracting dentists to certain areas of the country more difficult and we are experiencing challenges in recruiting to the area. However, we are looking at all options to attract and re-locate dentists to your practice. Please be assured that the vacancies are not through any lack of trying or apathy on our part, purely that recruiting dentists, is proving difficult. However, whilst we are recruiting, if you experience a dental emergency, e.g. pain, swelling or bleeding then you can still contact the practice and they will triage your symptoms and advise you how obtain emergency assistance until the practice is fully staffed.     Lovely staff throughout, really appreciate the care taken and the thorough investigation, emergency appointment was to get me out of pain and it worked, only gripe I have is I can't get in on nhs as my permanent dentist which is very sad - back to my rubbish dentist to complete the work I need finishing soon. Boo
