    I was initially impressed with my recent experience as a private patient at Gloucester Yard. The staff were friendly, the dentist was polite and considerate, and I was pleased with the work. However, a couple of weeks later I was offered an NHS place at another practice, and after a new patient check up there, an Xray revealed a shadow beneath one of my new fillings (which had just been done a few weeks prior at Gloucester Yard). I was still a patient at Gloucester Yard so I called them and asked for the filling issue to be sorted, since it was part of my very recent treatment, which clearly hadn't been done properly. I was told it was up to the discretion of the individual dentist as to whether the work would be rectified. I heard nothing back, and called again a couple of weeks later (where the receptionist told me she had passed my original message on to the dentist). Once again, no-one got back to me. Pretty shocking considering how much private dental work costs. Very disappointed with my experience, and do not recommend coming here if you're looking for competency or any sort of guarantee on the work.
