I’m not an average patient, very scared. I was made to feel calm and everything was explained to me. I had an extraction and it was over without any issues in no time. This is my second trip and both times I felt at ease. Everyone in the practice goes the extra mile. Parking is an issue but we’ll worth it.

Had a filling put in at this dentist practice and three weeks later on 18th November whilst on holiday it fell out. I called the dentist immediately whilst on holiday in the hope I could get an appointment upon my return. I was told my dentist was away on sick leave and I should call upon my return and they would arrange me an appointment with another dentist. I did this immediately upon my return but was told I could not see another dentist, my dentist was still on sick leave but I could buy a temporary filling from Boots. They made me an appointment for 5th December. I bought the temporary filling. On the package it said should see dentist within 48 hours of use. This didn’t happen I received a message from the dentist practice saying my appointment for 5th December had been cancelled and was booked in for 16th January. I was still told I couldn’t see the other dentist despite being without a filling, which they put in, for some time . On 13th January I received a voice message to say my appointment on 16th had been cancelled due to a flood in the practice which I fully appreciate is no one’s fault. I called back to reschedule my appointment. Another my dentist practice took the call and told me to call back the following week. On Saturday 14th January at 11.41am the dentist practice called. My 19 year old son took the message. They offered me an appointment on 18th January at same time as the cancelled appointment which was 2.35. My son wrote it down and said he would ask me to call back to confirm. I couldn’t get through on the Saturday so called back on Monday 16th to confirm I could attend the appointment. I left a voicemail to this effect. I turned up for the appointment on Wednesday 18th January and they have no record of the appointment. I wasn’t seen by anyone. There was no apology offered or any attempt to get me in for an appointment. I have been almost 10 weeks without a filling. I am also still waiting for this dentist to contact me when they have a new hygienist as theirs left some time ago. Absolutely awful practice which I will not be attending again. Reception staff are very unhelpful.
