    I've been at this practice for years..but now my actual dentist has left and cannot find a replacement for her I'm now having to go private as they have no other dentist at the practice to refer me to.. which I find hard to believe.

    Dear Patient, We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with our practice. Due to our current NHS appointment availability we are unable to offer appointments to everyone who contacts the practice, and this can include patients who have previously attended. As you may know via extensive recent media coverage, NHS dentistry is under severe pressure right now and we have seen these challenges first-hand at many mydentist practices. Recruiting an NHS clinician in the current climate is extremely challenging. We are very concerned about the lack of NHS dentists and are offering enhanced packages in many of our practices to attract NHS dentists, however, despite our best efforts, we have still not been able to secure any NHS dentists to your location. Whilst we recruit to backfill the NHS dentists, private care is an alternative option for our patients to consider in order to access dental care at your practice.     Had to pay multiple times for the same filling repeatedly falling out. After Covid they told me that the NHS had "struck me off" and if I wanted an appointment I would have to go private. After asking who in the NHS had instructed them to remove me as a patient they back tracked, got angry at being exposed as a liar, and put the phone down on me.
