I was referred to this practice to have teeth removed . I have an underlying reason why the teeth need to be removed and the dentist was very careful in making sure he had taken everything into account before starting work. He kept me calm and checked up on me all though the process. The best thing is that apart from a small amount of pain when the numbing medication was put in I felt no pain either during or after the extractions and I am writing this 2 full days afterwards. I should also say that the dental nurse was lovely and also did what she could to keep me calm while carefully carrying out her duties . This was a much better experience than I feared I would have .

Review titled Emergency tooth extraction
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Mr.Andrew R Lee - Posted on 11 May 2023
Recently I had a tooth split down the middle. Half of it loose, the other still in place. It was giving me great pain, and yet the loose part would not come out. I got an NHS emergency appointment to see them. I wasn't sure what could be done, if the part that was not loose could be saved etc. The dentist and assistant were very good and efficient. An X Ray was taken. It was suggested that the loose part of the tooth would come out first with any nerve endings, and the remaining bit looked at again. The state of other part was explained clearly and concisely, and it was suggested that it was too far gone, and if kept would have to be seen at a later date by a local dentist (I am currently on a waiting list for one). It was decided to remove this part too as on further inspection it wasn't in very good shape either. Overall I was very pleased to have this dealt with speedily and efficiently by the dentist and assistant as I had been in pain for a while trying to find a dentist locally (I live about 30 miles away from this dental practice). I was also very pleased it was done immediately and not having a to have a consultation first prolonging the pain (which other dentists were insisting on). I was very impressed by the 'can do' attitude that the practice have, and can not thank them enough for getting it resolved straight away. Any questions I asked were answered clearly and fully. I would recommend anyone to see this practice, as they will receive the utmost professional care and advice from the amazing dentists and assistants.

Despite that I am registered with them and they have all my details practise refused me a treatment. I have maternity exemption certificate and because I didn't have an appointment with them for a while they said they can not see m, as I need to go through a new registration form and they are not taking nhs patients atm, but are happy to book me in if I want to pay. Disgusting

I ring to see if they're taking on patients and they say that they are and when I do call back they say there not taking on & they can't boot someone off the list if they've been with them for years it's like the Dr's they don't boot anyone off the list. Covid happened and they boot me off so I couldn't see a dentist

From start to finish I was treated very well, was very anxious, was put at ease. This was a scary time for me but I had no reason to, both the dentist and assistant kept me calm and understood I was scared. I was allowed to listen to my own music through Bluetooth and before I knew where I was it was all over. X-ray, abscess dealt with and big back tooth out all under 15 mins I was so happy and thrilled to not be in pain at all. I’ll be so please to sleep well tonight. Thank you so much to this practice and yes I’d highly recommend them especially those who are nervous and scared. 100% the best dentist ever.
