I had two appointments - one with the hygienist followed by a check up with the dentist. The hygienist was friendly and put me at my ease by reminding me that I could take a break from the treatment at any point if I was experiencing discomfort. No break was required and my teeth felt great after the thorough clean / descale. The check up was a much shorter appointment. The dentist conducted a thorough examination of my teeth and gums and I explained that I had lost part of a back tooth whilst eating. The loss wasn't causing me any problem. The dentist suggested three options - do nothing and monitor, an amalgam filling or a white filling. I was tempted to take the first "do nothing" option but asked the dentist for her opinion. She recommended a filling, thinking that it would be better to act sooner than later but stressed it was my choice. I decided to take her advice and booked an appointment to have a white filling. I found the whole experience fuss free and thought I had been well looked after

Previously was using private dentist in Hutton. However price and distance became prohibited. Was surprised when saw that Oak was taking on more NHS patients. The practice is extremely good with my treatment on a par with my previous Dentist. My new dentist is exceptional and I recommend both him and his practice.

Surgeon was delayed but receptionist explained why. Once with surgeon. They found incorrect information about what treatment I was going to have and wrong x rays attached to my file. Then after discussion it was mutually decided that no treatment would take place. So a very unexpected outcome.

I was greeted pleasantly and treated with respect throughout my visit. My practitioner discussed my treatment, addressed any concerns I had. I was involved in the plan for future treatment.

My teeth are not perfect and need some work, but due to finances it has not been possible. Even though my dentist reassures and explains what needs to be done and gives me the confidence that eventually it will all be sorted in due time.

Have been to this practice with my wife for many, many years and it still keeps to its high standard, yesterday was no exception with appointments on time and staff very professional and happy, have already booked our next appointments. On yesterdays visit we were given very detailed in formation on what our teeth needed treatment for and various options to consider

I had a check-up yesterday, and have had more extensive work previously such as fillings and an extraction. As always, the experience was excellent (or, as excellent as such a visit can be!). I didn’t have to wait ages to be seen, the staff are friendly, and the practice itself is both stylish and comfortable. Most importantly, my dentist is welcoming, pleasant, and efficient. Highly recommended!
