My son has now had braces fitted for 4 years and 3 months. This is for treatment that we were originally told would take 2 years. A shocking lack of orthodontists appears to be the problem although we have never been officially informed why it’s taken so long. And now we’ve been told that we can’t get our next appointment until May despite being told at our last appointment that he would be seen every 6 to 8 weeks to speed things up. Absolutely appalling treatment. And we can’t transfer treatment to another provider as apparently this is not allowed as Orthoworld has already had the funding for my son’s treatment. I just hope after so long that his teeth will not be damaged or stained when the braces are eventually removed. Definitely not recommended.
