I needed to visit Park Road dental practice as my dentist referred me to them because my usual dentists doesn’t do Root Canal treatments because as first thought I had nerve damage after a recent filling but the dentist Simon Chalker X-Rayed my teeth only to find out the nerve damage was caused via an abscess all around the tooth, so treatment is either a root canal or having the tooth removed then having false tooth replacement, the dentist was very friendly and thorough after taking very clear X-Rays, he explained all I needed to know on what root to take and prices, he told me the Root Canel was 80% successful whereas having the tooth out was 100% successful then having a false tooth replacement on a mettle spring attachment once my gum had healed, so food for thought as the dentist said the costs where very similar, he would do the Root Canal or my own dentist the tooth removal and replacement tooth, so food for thought, I highly recommend this dental practice and the dentist I spoke to Simon Chalker.

The dentist too her time to explained in details of the importance of brushing teeth twice a day to my son. There was no waiting time, we arrived, and in 1 minute we were seen to.

Speed of service and advice offered However practice looks very n need of a makeover in general especially the treatment rooms they are looking a bit tired and dated Treatment wise all very professional ?

Managed to move my appointment with ease. Received reminder text. Parking available. Warm welcome and went into my appointment on time. Dentist and assistant were professional and offered good advice.

I have been with Park Road Dental Practice for 30 yrs + and previously the treatment has been excellent. I was appalled yesterday by the treatment I received. I had booked for a four month inspection, clean and polish. I received the inspection but when I asked for a clean and polish all I got was the dentist using an instrument to try to remove plaque from my front teeth without the usual suction and when I requested a polish she reluctantly only did a superficial polish on the outside of my front teeth. I am still a taxpayer, goodness knows what I now pay for with regard to dental treatment. I have previously recommended your practice to all my family and friends. I am seriously considering changing to another dentist if this is the service I will receive in the future. Mrs Eleanor Roberts
