Appointment time changed by 40mins without prior notice by text as travelling to it. Arrived on time. Man jumped queue ahead of my booked appointment. Nurse/receptionist unhelpful without knowledge of OAP/PIP/State Pension funding. Dentist wanting fresh air left me by open front door onto pavement/road. She refused to read my official paperwork: proof of pension; NHS number; NI number; application for HC3. Refused to speak to carer/friend on phone. Just kept repeating: "how much you pay?" "how much you pay?" without any price list or examination of my painful broken tooth as if I knew costs for unknown treatments? She insulted me. I felt humiliated. There was no care nor common humanity. She wasn't interested. I felt I wasn't treated equally nor with normal decency. She just wanted money upfront without giving me any idea of what she & her 'nurse' proposed to do

Your Review: I was in need of an emergency replacement white crown for a back tooth and I walked into this surgery and was given an appointment right away by the receptionist. The dentist surgery was clean, bright and comfortable and the dentist herself was very professional in her manner and work. I was notified as to the waiting time for my crown due to where they are made but got a call from them less than two weeks after to say that it was ready. I am very happy with the results, especially after having been told by another NHS dental practice that I would have to have a metal crown which would have spoilt my smile. Sincere thanks to this Dental Practice. My needs were perfectly met!

I have had my fillings and routine cleaning done here this week and would highly recommend Stroud Green Dentist to anyone. Have been a regular patient for years and always manage to keep my teeth hygienically clean, healthy and smiley.
