    I have just responded to an invitation to make an appointment for a dental checkup, the first such appointment since October last year. My last appointment was to have been in July this year, but this was cancelled by yourselves due to a dentist leaving the practice. When I pointed this out to the receptionist she abruptly gave me a date and time in November and cut me off before I could say anything further. I trust that you record these phone calls The time was 13.50 today 30/8/2024

    I was attended to pretty quickly and the dentist is very good and told me the actual status of my teeth and gums. Very good practice!

    Excellent service but was told to collect after 3 on Tuesday but when I rang earlier to check my denture had been returned The machine told me dentists was closed tried to leave a message but recorded message said I could not leave a message as tape full

    Having got an emergency appointment due to losing a filling, the treatment I received was excellent and the dentist explained the problem and fixed it.

    I’ve been a client here for several years and I usually receive a great service from both the admin staff and the clinical team. This time however it was totally different, I was asked to sign an NHS form to pay for a ‘routine check up’ appointment that I have never requested before even seeing the doctor. The admin’s approach sounded very strict and poorly informative. When I asked to adjourn the appointment, was threatened to be considered as DNA so I had no option but to comply. The check was obviously over in 10 minutes as there were no needs elicited! Unhappy this time but still appreciate the service offered to me over the previous years. Thanks for attention

    I have always given a favourable score for these feedbacks however not so in this particular case. The problem was with the receptionist. I arrived early before 0800 to find another patient also waiting outside. I didn't have an appointment and was hoping to get an emergency appointment, as these are limited I decided to visit in person as it's not always easy getting through on the phone especially on a Monday morning finding it very busy and then to be told all emergency appointments had been filled so my reasoning was a personal visit would be given priority over phoned appointments. The gentleman before me was also hoping for an emergency appointment as he had a toothache. The receptionist was somewhat abrupt when neither of us had an appointment and yet here we were in person and should have telephoned in as it was Unfair to those trying to get appointments over the phone basically telling us both off and not to repeat it in future and to phone in. I found her attitude very unsympathetic as we were both in pain and had no empathy at all. Perhaps if she had another member of staff to help deal with phone calls then it might have gone better, there usually are two receptionists but not in this case.

    Went for a routine check up and made it clear that i have anxiety when it comes to dental visits. I have quite a lot of build up on my bottom front teeth from a period of neglect on my part. Instead of being sympathetic, i was quite harshly told that i wasnt brushing properly and that i would lose my teeth if this wasn't rectified. I was told to come back in 3 months for a deep clean and a filling i needed and told to improve my gum health before then. I feel like the problem is only going to get worse in 3 months so im not happy.
