Positives: Efficient and professional service. Negatives: no scrape and polish anymore. £25 and in and out in under 5 minutes, but grateful to be a NHS patient.

Managed to secure emergency appointment on a Monday, having failed to find an emergency dentist on the Sunday. Reasonable chance now of being out of pain soon!

Dentist and the lady who help him were very helpful and friendly. Considerate in terms of asking 'can i just put this bib on you' and small things like that which make the process easier! Found both of them to be very helpful and knowledgeable

The receptionist was lovely and the dentist put me at ease as i was nervous and took the time to explain to me what treatment i needed moving forward to save my tooth

Although the receptionist and dentist were amazing there were two girls in reception and for the second time I have been they were complaining to each other about late appointments meaning they could not finish on time which makes you feel very uncomfortable when waiting for one of the said appointments. I am sure it was not done purposefully but may be worth making them aware of the time and place for those conversations to avoid in future

I took an elderly disabled friend in for a 6 monthly review. The dentist knew his stuff and as previously, gave good advice regarding management of the issues identified and also suggestions about what the G.P might be able to do which would help matters. Reception staff were very helpful , considerate and as supportive as they could be , taking account of my needs trying to best manage my friends impaired mobility at the surgery.

Prompt appointment re bridge which had dropped out. Refitted for third time. Was advised previously that bridge may have to be attached to a crowned tooth next to the gap but disappointed that dentist said she couldn’t do this and next step would be an implant £2500!!! Not on NHS. I would have hoped another dentist at the practice would be able to do this. Very disappointed

I went in with inflamed gums at one side of my mouth - the dentist wasn’t very thorough just said that I needed to see the hygienist- been going to dentist for 50 years plus always been told that my teeth we clean - told to floss and brush better - £70.70 bill -which included a check up which was completed in less than a minute —- aware short staffed but well short of the service I receive normally from Ormskirk Dental care.

The dentist reacted well to a problem I had but I did struggle to get the appointment or to speak to him on phone when I first highlighted the issue. I got the appointment by walking into the practice.
