    I was pleased to get an urgent for severe tooth pain. X-ray showed it needed filling but could only do a temp one on the day with (I thought) a permanent on 6/11. With severe pain continuing I tried to bring it forward only to be told that the 6/11 appt was a ‘check up’ and that the filling would not be done until 13/11. Meantime I am in agony and the only treatment available is strong painkillers which cause me other problems.

    The Dentist I saw was very professional and friendly. He made me aware of what was going to happen before he started. Which gave me lots of confidence in him and made me more relaxed.

    Warm reception from everyone. Dentist told me everything I needed to know about the treatment I was having done as I’m a nervous patient.

    Its been 8 days after the extraction today and am still in terrible pain. Taking painkillers every 4 hours. Cant open my mouth completely and cant eat properly.

    Did not even fill the paper worker Was given a paper after to sign had no idea what I signed. Was give a paper of aftercare with on cloth.

    Had my tooth extracted today and the dentist was fantastic (I’m sorry I can’t remember who I saw). It’s embarrassing to admit but I’m 29 and still find going to the dentist very traumatic. The dentist was so kind and patient, I’m very grateful. Thank you!

    The treatment I received was very good and my tooth extraction and previous examination I’m happy with. My concern is regarding the charges as I paid 25.80 for the first appointment where I had an examination and X-ray and was given antibiotics for an infection and was advised I will have to have the tooth removed at some stage within the next year. I tried to get another appointment about 2 weeks later for the extraction as the pain returned and had to wait a further 7 days for another dentist and this was supposed to be an emergency appointment as my usual dentist was on holiday. The dentist I saw was new and he said he was unable to carry out the extraction that day and just had a repeat of the last appointment X-ray and checkup and he wanted to charge me a further £70.00. I explained I paid £25.00 last time and he reduced it to the same fee as previously paid, took my email address and said someone would be in touch via email to arrange the tooth extraction. I never heard back so sent an email on 11 th sept to chase and was given an appointment for 13 sept and had the tooth extracted successfully. I queried the bill as they wanted to charge me £44.00 on top of what I had already paid and I stated that the total charge should be £70.00 minus the £25.00 x 2 I had already paid for this issue which means I owe £20.00 but the receptionist disagreed and said she would look into this for me but I haven’t heard anything as yet!!
