Had a same day emergency appointment booked for a an abscessed tooth with spreading infection, causing a temperature and heavy facial swelling affecting my eye and ear. Drove the 25 miles to the appointment only to receive a phone call just as I'm pulling up (10 minutes before the appointment time) that the appointment has been cancelled. Made numerous other phone calls to try and make alternative arrangements but it was too late in the day. I appreciate a dentist may be ill etc but they should know this more than 10 minutes before the appointment and have alternative provisions for emergencies. If they called earlier in the day I may have been able to make other arrangements now I can't. This simply isn't good enough for a supposed emergency treatment provider.
