Review titled Rude receptionists excellent orthodontist
Rated 4 stars out of 5

Very busy practice. One of the receptionists was lovely but one was eye-wateringly rude to everyone. Our orthodontist is excellent

My son had braces put on at the practice. The technician was very knowledgeable and the whole process went smoothly. Thank you!

Review titled A dreadful experience - normally excellent

Reviews are welcome it says in reception. I agree, so we improve and have feedback. So here is our's. Today was disappointing. Sadly it undid our positive view of the practise as a whole. We arrived to a prickly reception in chaos. Unprofessional chatter about a missing remote and if they will like the Ole Steen cake this time! We were treated as if we were taking up their time both at reception and during the appointment. In fact, when i rang yesterday for an appointment for my daughter's broken brace and politely asked for an appointment I was told that they were "only the NHS". We have never viewed the practice as "only" anything. Today when i asked why everything was not like usual i was barked at with "it's a stressy place here!". Other clients were rattled too and sitting quietly. When told to enquire at the desk about a possible cancellation for follow up, I was told that I must be lying. Enough said, the practice was not at its best today. Our first such experience at the clinic but still not professional. A very upset daughter and asthmatic mother.

Review titled Highly recommend this practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5

My daughter has been in the care of this practice since September 2020. This reflects the original state of her teeth, not any delay in care. The orthodontist and practice nurses have been exceptional. Patient, caring and communicative. They were also firm when needed (eg about effective brushing with braces)! We always understood each step of the process and what we were aiming for. The end result is magnificent, the improvement is unimaginable! We would also like to acknowledge the Reception team who have always done their best to find appointments, taking into account school timetables and exams. Thank you all so much, we are most appreciative of your effort and expertise.

Review titled Poor reception communication
Rated 3 stars out of 5

I haven't been to the practice yet. My son was referred to them and I had the most distressed experience over the phone. I called to find out about my son's name on the list. The receptionist was rude and threatening me to end the call if I didn't speak to her in a low voice.she accused me of shouting at her and she ended the call straight away. She didn't even listen to me. By the way it was my second phone call and this time I returned a call from the surgery. She was not very helpful and she upset me a lot.
