I had been suffering with bad toothache in an area of my mouth next to a tooth that had previously been crowned. I phoned to make an emergency appointment and was offered a day and time less than 2 days later; I was very pleased with that as I was getting through Anadin Extra as fast as I could get them down! The dentist took X-rays of the offending tooth and offered me some antibiotics to clear the infection. Overall, a very good service. I am hoping that I won't have to return any time soon for further treatment. Thanks

Unfortunately my last visits to the hygienist has been very poor. Although I have requested local anaesthetic for the procedure, there was no prescription. Having returned again this week the hygienist was unable to administer it. Potentially another wasted and very anxious visit - thankfully one staff member organised for another hygienist to care for me. I would recommend improving the alert on the patient list identifying in advance. It is not helpful to arrive in the room when the hygienists had clearly not reviewed my notes in advance.

Our practice for many years. Recently visited & saw the dentist, had X-rays & reassuring chat. Then saw the hygenist. Always the best of care & advice given thank you

I was not looking forward to having my tooth extracted but the dentist was very reassuring and gentle. I hardly felt the needle and the extraction itself was very quick. I was also well briefed on the after care required.

I cannot recommend this practice enough. As always the service received was second to none. As a client with a back injury, they are accommodating and ensured that my visit was as painfree as possible. I had my six monthly check up and hygienist appointment. Both on time.

We've been with this practice for over 30 years and have never encountered any problems. Yes there have been changes to appointments due to illness etc. but these have always happened in a timely manner and given us notice, usually of at least 1 day before the appointment which has then been rearranged. We last visited the practice on the 18th February. We've always found the reception staff very pleasant and efficient and we always get reminders of up and coming appointments. This occasion was no different and the staff were charming. We have used the same hygienist the whole time we have used the practice and we find her extremely polite and even though we've known her for over 30 years she still insists on calling us Mr & Mrs !! She always asks whether we are happy for her to use certain methods when inspecting and cleaning our teeth. On this occasion she did a great job and also complimented me that I was doing a good job on cleaning my teeth. We have used a number of dentists at the practice over the years, who have left the practice on retirement or just moving on to pastures new, but found each one friendly, professional and caring. Our current Dental Surgeon has been with us for at least the last 5 years and we find that he is extremely friendly, caring and keeps us informed about our dental needs. This visit was no exception and as it was a few years since my last x-ray he completed that and then discussed the images and results with me. In conclusion - a great dental practice.

Broke a tooth that has been fixed previously. Apparently lasted 2 years so a second repair was carried out. The repair was excellent and has sorted out the tooth. From phoning to visit was only over a weekend but there was no pain so not a problem. Always quick service and nice staff. Very helpful.
