This dentist has removed my 2 young children off there register for 1 missed appointment which had a valid reason of my husband being hospitalised and diagnosed with a life changing illness! They were not interested at all and said they couldn’t help. I was then told the dentist that made the decision would call me back but didn’t. And to my amazement when checking for other dentists in the area we see that they are still accepting patients under 17 but will not see my girls. I made another call to be told I have to write into the practice and they would not provide an email. This is an extremely disappointing and stressful situation to be in.

my son had been going to this dentist since he was 2 years old and last year he had covid a day before both his appointments which we called to say he wouldnt be able to attend due to his illness and now he been taken off the list and the dentist has seen my son for 16 years and doesnt want him back as nhs but has private. discustting. avoid...........

From the moment i walk in to the moment i leave the staff are absolutely brilliant. I am a very anxious patient when it comes to the dentist and the reception staff put me at ease. When i go in to see my dentist he knows i worry and will speak to me before examining my teeth he is kind and patient and nothing is ever too much trouble. I wouldn’t go to the dentist if it wasn’t for how patient he is. Highly recommend the Avenue dental practice. My children have always been confident going to the dentist and im sure it is because of how the staff are with them.

Awful surgery, from reception to the actual dentist. Had a treatment on the NHS and it was flakey and it was so poor so wouldn't do anything privately here. The dentist literally had no regard for my welfare and wellbeing. I was encouraged to take up private treatment and I found the dentist lacked any meaningful knowledge, consideration or customer service skills, only interested in taking my money. I would stay well away.

I’ve seen reviews that say this is a money grabbing practice. It does feel like that in my experience. Wouldn’t mind if there was a more caring and friendly approach shown by the actual Dentist but you are made to feel like an inconvenience and then pay for that. Many people have a fear of dentists. They need to learn better communication skills ((Dentist) and try to put you at ease. Left in pain but scared about going back. That’s not right. The last time they were inspected shows as 2013.

I had Covid and they have taken me off the list. After 18 years I’ve been a patient. Asked me to become a private patient so I could pay more cash

My original appointment was 23rd June , I rang up on the 6th of June regarding excruciating pain in my tooth and to see if I could get in early for it to be looked at . They managed to get me in a couple days later with not my original dentist , I was told I had an infection and it needed to be removed but told I had to wait till the 23rd for my original dentist to come back and then it will be removed. When I arrived for my appointment on the 23rd expecting for my tooth to be taken out like I was told , wasn’t the case and had to book another appointment 3 days later despite the pain I was in
