    I visited recently for a filling - it was my first filling and I was exceptionally anxious. The whole team from the welcoming receptionist through to the great nurses on both occasions and the reassuring, engaging and competent dentist give me great confidence in this practice.

    6 members of my family, not the same surnames, and ages from 4 to 62, have had letters in the last month telling us that we have been taken off our current dentist list because he wants to downsize. We no longer have an NHS dentist. We were told they are in the process of employing another but there’s no guarantee we will get on his list either. This stinks of them wanting everyone to pay for private-treatment. How many more have had letters. No loyalty for their long term patients but I wonder how many immigrants they’ve taken on.

    My three year old son has been going to see the dentist at Bridges , for the last year on the NHS. At first he was quite reserved with sitting in the chair and having a check up, however the dentist has really made him feel comfortable, reassured and most importantly been so patient with getting my son in every three months to ensure that he becomes confident!! I cant thank them enough at Bridges ! :)

    From the receptionist through to the Dentist I was shown professionalism, empathy , friendliness I consider this to be a dental practice second to none.

    Sure, here is a bad review for The Bridges Dental Practice: **The Bridges Dental Practice: Unreliable and uncaring** I have been a patient at The Bridges Dental Practice for several years, but in the last year, I have been very disappointed with the service I have received. On three occasions, my appointments have been cancelled on the day before, without any explanation or apology. This has been extremely inconvenient and disruptive, and has left me in pain and discomfort. Most recently, I have been experiencing severe pain in one of my teeth. I called the practice to request an emergency appointment, but I was refused. I was told that I could book a routine appointment in seven weeks' time. This is completely unacceptable! I am in pain now, and I need to see a dentist as soon as possible. I am very disappointed with the way I have been treated by The Bridges Dental Practice. They are unreliable and uncaring. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. I would also like to add that I am not the only patient who has had this experience. I have spoken to other patients who have also had their appointments cancelled at the last minute, or who have been refused emergency appointments. This is clearly a systemic problem at the practice. I urge anyone considering registering with The Bridges Dental Practice to think twice. There are many other dental practices in the area that offer a much better level of service.

    I always find the staff friendly, reassuring and as a nervous patient I’m always made to feel relaxed . Through the treatment everything that the dentist is going to do is explained to me

    Denied an emergency appointment, despite being in excruitiating pain, reason given, I did not follow up with treatment previously (this was due to cost) I was told I could come in for a routine check up seven weeks later. Absolutely callous way to treat patients|!

    On the last 3 years I have been passed on 3new dentist , the last 1 have done some work what's creating infection every 2-3 weeks. Now I cannot have a appointment because his only work part-time and they don't have any other dentist available

However, despite our best efforts to provide continuous care for our patients, unfortunately it is not always possible for a patient to see the same dentist, as various circumstances can mean it is not always possible.
