At my NHS check up I was told that I had tartar build up and would need to see the hygenist at a cost of £55. When I declined I was told that they no longer offered simple scaling with the NHS check up. Having checked the guidelines on the NHS website it clearly states that simple scaling is included in the Band 1 course of treatment.

The receptionist was very friendly and the dentist and dental nurse that I see are always very patient and understanding as I am a very nervous patient. Thank you.

Dentist is professional and friendly. Appointment on time. I was on waiting list and waited for around 3 months to have appointment made. Would be better to shorten the waiting list time.

Had my 6 monthly checkup , my dentist knows i am nervous but he talks me through what he will be doing and puts me at ease , the reception staff are really nice and polite , thank you

Professional and reassuring staff, the dental treatment I received was excellent, I was nervous before but was put at ease and had 3 fillings done and it was totally painless. The dentist and assistant explained every stage as the treatment was carried out, after the local anaesthetic wore off everything felt totally normal and comfortable .

I recently joined this practice as my previous dentist ceased to serve NHS patients. The transfer was swift and efficient and the first dental appointment encouraging. The dentist was courteous and attentive and offered helpful and pragmatic advice. Happy to be with a straightforward NHS practice again, and hope for consistency if treatment in future. Note that no treatment has yet been required hence answers to later questions.

Fantastic service from reception to dental check-up. I had no wait time and my dentist was very clear and thorough and put me at ease. Highly recommend this practice!
