Had a filling done today . Was very nervous as I’m not comfortable at the dentist . However the dentist was kind gentle and got it done almost pain free . So I’m happy

I paid for private treatment for teeth whitening This was my second appointment to pick up the trays and treatment kit I could have done with a little more time to ask questions but was okay overall

I am an extremely nervous patient who has diabetes. My dentist was doing 5 extractions and talked me through the process whilst giving me breathing techniques to help with my nerves. She checked whether I had eaten being diabetic and paused treatment for me to relax. All round very happy patient

The dentist and nurse were amazing with my autistic son. They showed empathy and understanding of his challenges and made us both very comfortable with the service provided. Thank you both so much.

He explained everything he was doing and what I should do at home to look after my gums better. Also explained why I needed a tooth removed at the hospital.

I went to see the hygienist for a clean, scrape and polish. The hygienist was very good and competent, she had a hard time with me because I am not a good patient and have overly sensitive gums. She was as gentle as possible but I found it difficult to have the treatment. The hygienist was as considerate as possible and did remove plaque from my teeth and gave me a polish. My teeth do feel different (better) the tooth edges are a little sharper with the plaque removed and the discolouration has been removed. Its worth a little discomfort and should extend the life of my teeth.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Surgery was very clean. The dentist was extremely thorough, putting me at ease. Great advice given. Would definitely recommend this practice.

Been waiting nearly 3 years for my daughter to have braces fitted. Communication between smile and Southampton orthodontist is shocking. Other daughter who is older was meant to be referred 4 years ago to orthodontist and has only just need referred. And younger daughter was referred to royal south hants due to teeth decay on gums, but never heard from royal south hants I mention everytime me and the children visit but nothing has been done about it. Sometimes the receptionist can be quite rude when trying to arrange appointments. Never use to have some bad service. Makes trips to the dentist stressful. Also had 3 different dentist since we have been coming.
