    This was the worst dental visit I've ever had. The dentist was not only rude but also hurried through my appointment without giving my concerns any real attention. She didn't bother to do a thorough examination and brushed off my symptoms. Terrible service at this dental clinic. The dentist was shockingly rude and didn't seem interested in my case at all. She did a cursory check-up and dismissed my concerns without any proper investigation. I left feeling frustrated and unheard. It's clear that patient care is not a priority here. Avoid this place if you want to be treated with respect and get proper dental care.

    I joined this practice in october this year and booked an appointment for 31st october. I arrived at my appointment after leaving work early to be told they were too busy and needed to rearrange. Not a good first impression. I rearranged for the following week where the dentist checked my teeth. I explained that as I am on a low income I had a Hc3 Certificate to help towards treatment costs. The dentist said I would need to pay 45 pounds to see the hygeinist before she could give me a treatment plan. I was suprised at this as I thought under NHS Treatment, if it is clinically necessary it was covered under band 2. I was told I would need to pay 23.80 for my check up and half of the 45 pounds up front. I went to the desk to pay but my card would not work so I asked if I could call my mother to transfer the money so I could pay which I did. The dental nurse, whom I found quite rude from the start, then said loudly in front of the whole waiting room "can i just say, no payment, no appointment!". Totally unnecessary as she had heard me on the phone to my mother arranging payment. I paid my deposit and arrived on 28th November for my hygeinist appointment to be told the hygeinist was not in and that I had the wrong day. I showed her the card the dentist had written for me. It did indeed show the 28th. As I can only do Mondays I was unable to rearrange, so was asked for a refund as I now had no faith in this practice. I was told someone would ring me on Tuesday. Nobody rang, so I rang them and was told they would ring me on Wednesday. When nobody had called by wednesday afternoon I called them and was told he was busy and later the receptionist called for my details and arranged the refund. From start to finish my experience was not a good one. I have paid for a check up which was now pointless as I am going to have to register elsewhere and pay again which I cannot afford. There was no patient care from start to finish. Reception staff are not welcoming or friendly and the dental nurse is in a league of her own when it comes to rudeness. A total waste of my time and money. No patient care whatsoever. Extremely disappointed!

    we are very disappointed to see your review, we will look into the matter. Please e mail us if you would like to know more. NHS dentistry is going through a very tough time. We have had staff shortages due to illness.
