  1. Review titled Great and patient and informative

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Jordan Thomas - Posted on 06 July 2024

The whole experience was fantastic, patient and great dentists who really took the time to listen and help. The clean was the moat comfortable teeth cleaning I've had in a long time, and the receptionist was lovely. 10/10 highly recommended.

I am a very nervous patient and was dreading having a filling (private, not NHS). The dentist really put me at ease and I was really impressed by her empathy. Thank you.

  4. Review titled Great practise

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Came here on Tuesday the 2nd with s raging tooth ache, check me over, need 2 teeth pulled and a filling. Came back today, the 5th, to be told I have an infection, won't do the extraction until it has cleared up. My dentist, was very thorough checking my teeth. He said not to worry he will take care of me and my teeth. I completely trust him completely. Thank you 😊

  5. Review titled Only interested in pushing private work.

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have recently moved to the area and so needed a new NHS dentist. This practice was taking new patients, so booked in for 16th March. I paid the £26 for my check up and attended my appointment. After literally 10 seconds of looking in my mouth, the dentist started telling me all of the work that I needed doing. I told him that I wanted a proper checkup, so he did the check up. I told him I had pain intermittently in one of my upper right teeth. He said he would need to send me to a hospital in Chelmsford for a X-ray? And that I will need to send my dental records from my previous dentist in London. He said I would receive an appointment within 3 weeks for the X-ray and I emailed in my dental records. ( No acknowledgement of receipt) Well it is now July. Still no X-ray appointment and after numerous emails and left messages for someone to contact me, I have heard nothing! This is the worst dental practice I have ever been to and the NHS and Dental regulator shook look into them. Avoid!

  6. Review titled Avoid this practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have been a patient here for 16 years but won’t be returning. Recently went in because of a small bubble on my gum. Was told it was infected, I would need antibiotics, a root canal and possibly an extraction following that plus deep cleaning which can only be done privately at a cost of £250. I had zero pain in my mouth and he did X-rays which he himself said showed the root of the tooth was fine. The antibiotics did nothing for this bubble so clearly was not an infection, it eventually went away on its own. I think it was just a small fluid filled cyst. I called back to question why I couldn’t have the cleaning done on band two of the NHS charges. I was told the dentist would call back, he didn’t. I called again and was told he would call to explain. He didn’t. I ended up cancelling the appointment. I was offered to see someone else for the cleaning instead for £80 to which I agreed. I went for that appointment to be told £80 was only for 20 minutes so would need to book a further three appointments at £80 a time to complete treatment. So a total of £300. I don’t understand what is going on here but don’t trust what they are doing. Things seem to have changed a lot and they must be making a fortune. They are not a true NHS dentist. They use that to lure people in then scare them into paying lots of money for private work. Avoid at all costs.

  7. Review titled A Terrible Dental Practice!

Rated 1 star out of 5

My NHS check up consisted of a one minute look in my mouth, literally, and a list of private work they are prepared to do. The dentist did not even identify my 3 broken teeth until I drew his attention to them. Strangely, the work does not need to be done on the NHS, only privately. They are abusing the NHS system, taking advantage of the lack of dentists, and taking my money for doing nothing useful. Disgusting!

  8. Review titled Just push private work onto you

Rated 1 star out of 5

Went for a check up and constantly pushed towards private work when I am registered as an NHS patient. My husband had the same issue too. Told he needs essential cleaning to prevent worsening of gum disease which is available under NHS yet they will only do it private. Won't even do an extraction of a tooth without referring to hospital if you want it done under the NHS now been left in agony with a tooth yet get constant reminders for another check up!! To add insult to this appointments are always about an hour late!

lost hospital x ray by incompetent receptionists, dentist dont listen....rush you out for regular quicker easier money making patients for a tooth filling or polish lol, joke..., rather then ones that actually in pain and need treatment. Paid 26 quid to join as an nhs payment, just for a 7 days antibiotics to get me out, but no treatment plan? useless....pointless x ray reception too busy gossiping between themselves, totally incompetent money all over care allday. Want my 26 quid and will see a more professional dental surgeon

  10. Review titled Would recommend

I've been coming to the dentist as an NHS patient for about 7 years. The dentist and hygienist are very professional and caring. The waiting times aren't too long. The dentist is also very good with children and puts them at ease. I'd recommend this practice to anyone in the local area.
