The friendliness of the Hygienst who makes you feel at ease and gives great advice on looking after your teeth. The receptionist was also very cheerful and helpful.

Friendly staff, efficient dentist . only downfall was 20 min wait for appointment . Which is annoying as other way round would be refused to be seen. Also no warning of running late and no appology for being late .

Unfortunately, my time was for 1350. I was emailed twice and phoned once just to confirm that time and I was coming I eventually I eventually saw the dentist at 1435 when you queried it appears she has got the wrong time in her diary. However I would rather busy I’m really there was only one Dentist on call. The other thing that stands out for me is a health and safety issue with regard to the stairs down to the surgery is a quite steep and although they have handrails iPhone for my age and size and rather difficult. So much so that the only way I can get out of the place is that at the back door and then walk up the ramp round the back, not insurmountable, but something that could be looked at!

Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry you had to wait beyond your appointment time. As you stated we do only have one NHS dentist on several days of the week, which is out of our control due to the national shortage of dentists. Unfortunately dentist do run over when emergencies are presented as treatment is unknown until the patient is in the chair. I can only apologise for the unexpected delay. As for practice access, our stairs are standard stairs and meet building regulations, however we do have ground floor access from the rear of the property for those who cannot manage the stairs. The ramp again meets all building requirements for wheelchair access. Most of our limited mobility patients arrive by car straight to the back door which will lead you straight into the waiting room. If you wish to discuss any of the above issues further, please contact the practice manager.
