Review titled Appallingly rude receptionist
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 04 February 2025
I recently moved to this dentist. It is pretty poor - the dental care of my children, especially, is not nearly as good as where we used to live. They keep cancelling appointments (that have been booked for 6m) and the checkups are very perfunctory, taking less than half the time of their last dentist. I am prompted to leave a review, however, by the shockingly rude receptionist. She has just hung up on me, having practically shouted at me, when I (politely) complained about the latest cancellation, when trying to book a new appointment for the kids. I called back and she did the same again. I made sure I was scrupulously polite so there was no need for such behaviour. People can have a bad day but this was so uncalled for. She shouldn’t be working in such a job if she does not want to actually help people!

Pleasant helpful receptionist and dentist with not too long a wait. It would be nice if subtitles were shown on TV to pass time while waiting.

Seen on time for a routine check up, very efficient service. The dentist (Gita) was very good with my children and thoroughly examined my teeth, explaining which areas might need future attention. Thank you.

Remedial work needed identified by staff which I had no knowledge of and appointment booked reassured me that my negligence could possibly be painful and inconvenient , so thank you Wootton staff

On time, efficient, professional, pleasant and swift. Slight confusion about booking the next appointment- whether it was called a check up or relates specifically to what is being checked and might need testing and so I had to wait but otherwise very good.

Review titled Infected tooth extraction
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Morna R - Posted on 18 January 2024
I had a chance to explain my problem, loose tooth, and had the treatment explained to me. I was able to ask questions, and have pain relief before the extraction. How I should treat the area in my mouth for the next 24hours was explained as well.

Review titled Emergency treatment for a broken tooth,
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by James M - Posted on 09 January 2024
I broke a tooth, fortunately it wasn't painful; Wotton Dental Centre saw me within a couple of days and did a very good temporary repair. I was booked in for a more permanent fix within three weeks. Further the treament was covered by the NHS. All in all a very good response.
