My online enquiry was responded to very quickly. I spoke with a Physician Associate the very next day who was very helpful and who even let me know before she went home that my test results hadn’t come through, and when she would get back to me. I received my results by text at the time I had been advised, and that a prescription had been prepared for me. My prescription was ready for collection, the pharmacy were so polite and caring. All in all, I received excellent care and service at every stage, it couldn’t be better. A huge thank you to everyone.

‘N’ in the dispensary is fantastic, not only did she get the issue with my prescription sorted within a day of her handling it, she went above and beyond to do so. She was the friendliest person I have ever met at the practice and can’t thank her enough for her commitment to getting my issue resolved, her empathetic nature is a true credit to her and she is the type of person you want in the NHS. I wish we had more people like her! Thank you ‘N’ for you amazing help and kindness you showed me with getting my issue sorted! I truly can’t thank you enough!! Keep doing what you’re doing!!

Disappointed that the nurse practioner was not on a system where she could view the photos I had taken time to upload with my information. I feel it was a slight waste of time on both our parts as information was missing of a skin complaint that probably needed to be seen. Now need to go to the pharmacy where someone can actually see the complaint to diagnose further. The nurse practitioner was very good on the call with the very limited information she had it is the system which is broken.

It's just disgusting that the receptionist at Acle Medical Center just hung up on me today. It is very difficult to obtain or discuss test results or/and book an telephone appointment.

I’ve seen the medical practitioner twice now and found him to be very thorough and efficient. Nothing seems too much trouble and I feel I was given plenty of time to discuss my symptoms. Very efficient.

Greatly disappointed. A month ago I placed an order to collect 2 months medication today 05/10/23 — October’s prescription and November’s because I will be out of the country until 21/11/23. A record was duly made. Today I came to collect but only Oct script was given! The excuse was that “It only states one month here,” pointing to the prescription! Where are records written? Clearly improvement is needed. I now have another 7 mile round trip to make tomorrow, but luckily I have left enough days to collect before I leave the country.

This morning 15th August 2023 I contacted Acle Medical Centre to report severe pain in my left lower side. This is after two nights with no sleep. I was told at the start of the call that I was number 3 in the queue so I waited for about five minutes, and waited for a further twenty minutes finally being told I was number 1 in the queue. Then, abruptly, the voice told me to ring back later and I was disconnected! Fine, just tell people that at the beginning, but to leave people on hold for nearly twenty five minutes only to cut them off without explaining the reason is not acceptable. Either change your messages on the phone, add some extra lines or get a new system, but you are treating your patients as if they are unimportant by using this method. I used to be proud of our Health Centre but unfortunately they are not worthy of praise anymore in my opinion. why keep people in a queue if you are going to cut them off when they reach No. 1??

Acle Medical Partnership refused to make a Diabetes Eye Screening Appointment for me, despite this being common practice in the rest of the country for 74 yo's like me. The "excuse" they gave me was that: "This is Norfolk" quote!!! They could not even give a functioning phone number to call to make an appointment elsewhere. Clearly "NHS Norfolk" does not care whether you get diabetes and go blind.
